The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (the IAPM) was founded in 1989 as a non-state higher education and research institution. The IAPM is the largest Ukrainian university of economic and humanitarian profile training students from 39 countries of the world in 20 specialties, 101 specializations pertaining to 16 areas and 11 fields of knowledge. The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management consists of the Presidential University (the city of Kyiv), the All-Ukrainian University (institutes, branches, subsidiaries all over Ukraine) and the International Open University (the International Preparatory Institute in Kyiv and the network of foreign education centres abroad).
The training process at the Academy is provided by more than 2300 teachers, 70% of them are Doctors and Candidates of Science.
Today the IAPM is the leader in the sphere of non-state education in Ukraine. The Academy is licensed at the IV (the highest) level by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine and accredited at the all licensed specialties that allow issuing state-standard diplomas.
The IAPM is included into the World Higher Education Database published by the International Association of Universities under the UNESCO’s aegis.
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is situated in Kyiv – the capital of Ukraine which is one of the most picturesque and comfortable cities of Europe with nearly 3 million residents.
Besides the tertiary and preparatory institutes the Academy includes the Graduate School, Doctorate, Teleuniversity, Colleges of Law and Economics, Lyceum (5-11 grades), Computer courses, Courses of foreign languages, the Yaroslav the Wise Library and Information Centre, Personnel agency and Driving school.
The Academy’s infrastructure comprises the European-standard educational buildings, conference hall, dormitories, medical centre, library building, stadium, gyms and athletic fields, concert hall, student restaurants, cafes and canteens, food stores, barber’s, sauna, parks with a lot of cultural objects, etc. The security of the Academy’s 15 hectares campus is provided around the clock.
